4-21-21: Today I had a reservation to camp at Battle Ground Lake State park. As I arrived I slowly cruised in to find my spot and size up how to get the trailer parked, knowing it was a “back in” site. (RVers will relate, the dreaded backing up, its something I start thinking stressing? about as I get close to camp.) I’m sure as I get used to towing it will go away.
Once spotted I pulled right past my spot to gave it the once over. I lined up then did a quick walk around before backing up, backed right in and bingo! Nailed it! First time! The lady at the next campsite even said “impressive”. LOL
Switching into Tool time/Guy mode; (you know, “Kid, time me while I change this flat tire” mode) I chock the tires, lower the stabilizing jacks and level all 4 corners then disconnect the weight distribution bars and the hitch from the truck, after about 20 minutes I am COMPLETELY unhooked from the truck and all set up.
As I smugly wander back to hook up the electric and water when I notice that I am too close to the power and water posts to allow the slide to actually slide out. DOH! <insert cuss words here>! 😦
The only option is to undo all the leveling, reinstall the hitch, hook back up to the trailer and do it all over again.
I was too frazzled to take a picture before but here is the after shot so you can get the idea, I was lined up neatly on the edge of the pavement before readjusting.

By June I should have this down to 15 minutes!
After resetting up, I was able to relax and enjoy the view from the zero gravity lawn chair and enjoy a well earned adult beverage.

I had a nice walk around the park and then grilled a burger for dinner, this is a great park, very woodsy with a nice lake to walk around, there is even an equestrian area and trails.
After dinner I had a rambling stream of consciousness discussion with my buddy Mike about where to go this weekend for a campout. The weather here is looking like 50% chance of rain and cool, Silver Falls is mostly the same, Bend/Sisters, OR however is looking better, warmer at least. Will check again in the morning. As they say, tune in next week to find out!
